Improving Quality of Life: Success Stories from the CODSAiN Project

Through the Community-Oriented DMPA-SC Self-Injection Acceleration in Nigeria (CODSAiN) Project, women across Nigeria are not just accessing childbirth spacing/family planning—they are reclaiming their time, health, and choices, leading to a better quality of life.

“I didn’t want more children so soon, but I didn’t know how to say it. Now I decide when I’m ready.” – Jamila, Kano

“I never knew I could take charge of my own body… Now, I teach other women to do the same.” – Blessing, Lagos

“I was afraid at first, but the health worker counselled and educated me with necessary and adequate information. Now, I don’t need to wait in long lines or miss work.” – Fatsuma, Gombe

Supported by ARFH and the Gates Foundation, CODSAiN is transforming access to reproductive health services and improving daily life for women in hard-to-reach communities.
