Today, the Association for Reproductive and Family Health (ARFH) convened the Community-Oriented DMPA-SC Self-Injection Acceleration in Nigeria (CODSAiN) 2.0 Landscape Analysis Findings Validation Meeting in collaboration with the Gates Foundation and the consulting team.
The meeting, which took place at Ibeto Hotel, Abuja, forms part of a broader body of studies and planning activities designed to inform the next phase of investment in the CODSAiN project and support evidence-based proposal development for future funding.
Stakeholders and technical experts reviewed and validated findings from the multi-state landscape assessment across 11 states, with discussions focused on:
* Validating state readiness tiers,
* Strengthening the evidence base for state selection,
* Identifying implementation opportunities and risks, and
* Aligning on a strategic roadmap for CODSAiN 2.0 scale-up.
The engagement reinforced a shared commitment to ensuring that the next phase of the project remains data-driven, context-responsive, and technically sound in expanding equitable access to self-care and family planning services across Nigeria.
