ARFH’s programmes and trainings have substantially impacted on individuals and communities at the micro level and the nation at the macro level. ARFH provides technical support to national institutions in developing capacity and effective systems to manage and coordinate programmes relating to HIV/AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis. ARFH is also at the forefront of influencing and participating in the development of national policies, strategic framework and national guidelines especially those relating to family planning, reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, adolescent health and development, malaria and tuberculosis. ARFH’s collaboration with Federal Ministries of Health and Education have also resulted in development of various training manuals, policies and protocols in areas of sexual and reproductive health, adolescent reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, NHMIS and national strategic plans for TB, malaria and HIV. ARFH has conducted over 100 batches of Reproductive Health and Family Planning Trainings for Doctors and Nurses. Staff of NGOs and Universities across Nigeria have also benefitted from various training programmes organized by ARFH to build their capacity in research proposal writing, research design, research methodology and development of manuscripts for publication in peer review journal

ARFH is equipped with seasoned and dedicated professionals with a wealth of experience in programme implementation as well as capacity building to strengthen human resource for health. A pool of consultants from development organizations and academia also contributes to our robust training faculty.
TRAINING VENUE
Training sessions will be conducted at ARFH head office located at Plot 815A Army Officers’ Mess road, Agodi GRA, Ikolaba, Ibadan, Oyo state.
