The purpose of the project was to strengthen the capacity of CBOs in the management of community HIV/AIDS care and support services, to improve skills in sustaining HIV/AIDS care and treatment programming and to improve the existing linkages between CBOs and the facility –based HIV/AIDS service delivery points
The goal was to scale up comprehensive HIV& AIDS treatment through empowerment of CBOs for effective implementation and management of care and treatment programs in Kaduna and Cross River States. This contributed to reduction of HIV/AIDS morbidity and mortality in the two states (Kaduna and Cross River).
