World Water Day 2026 “Where Water Flows, Equality Grows” (Water and Gender)

Women and girls often face the greatest challenges when water is scarce. They spend hours collecting water, care for those affected by unsafe water, and are frequently excluded from decisions about water management. Access to safe water is not only a health issue, it is a matter of gender equality.

At ARFH, we are committed to ensuring safe, sustainable, and equitable water access. Through initiatives like the ICHSSA 2 Project, we have installed well-equipped WASH facilities, promoted hygiene practices, and supported women and girls to take an active role in water management and community health decisions.

When women are empowered to lead, entire communities benefit, improving health, education, and opportunities for all.

This World Water Day 2026, ARFH reaffirms its dedication to water, climate resilience, and the well-being of communities.
