Every minute, malaria takes a life — often a child or a pregnant woman.
In 2023, Nigeria accounted for 40% of estimated malaria cases and 46% of estimated malaria deaths within the 10 High Burden to High Impact (HBHI) countries (World Malaria Report 2024)
At ARFH, we are supporting efforts to:
Promote the use of insecticide-treated nets (ITNs), Strengthen community-level testing and treatment, Help pregnant women access preventive medication, Educate families about symptoms and how to stay safe, Train frontline health workers and mobilize communities
Progress is possible. We must invest more, think differently, and act together.
Let’s reignite our efforts because malaria ends with us.
