World Immunization Week 2025: Immunization for All is Humanly Possible

Vaccines save lives — and they’re saving lives here in Nigeria.
Yet only 39% of children aged 12–23 months are fully vaccinated. Too many children still die from diseases we can prevent. (NDHS 2023–24)

At ARFH, we are working alongside the government and other stakeholders to support the rollout of the HPV vaccine in Nigeria — one of many life-saving vaccines.

Our efforts include: Strengthening routine immunization in hard-to-reach communities, Educating families about the importance of vaccines, Providing accurate information to address concerns and misconceptions, Promoting HPV vaccination for girls aged 9–14 to prevent cervical cancer.

Beyond HPV, ARFH integrates immunization with other health interventions during comprehensive outreach activities — ensuring communities receive a wide range of essential health services, including nutrition, malaria prevention, and reproductive health.

The HPV vaccine protects girls from cervical cancer and offers them a healthier future. But our mission goes further: to protect all children through integrated, accessible, and equitable health services.

Let’s ensure no child is left behind — and that every girl receives the protection she deserves.
A healthier Nigeria is not just a goal — it’s humanly possible.
