Prof. O. A Ladipo Becomes President of African Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (AFOG)

Professor Oladapo Alabi Ladipo has become the first Nigerian to be elected as the President of African Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (AFOG) during the 1st Regional Conference of African Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (AFOG), Nairobi, Kenya 18th- 20th February 2015.
Speaking shortly after the event, Prof. Ladipo maintained that AFOG would conitnue to key into the ongoing global and regional initiatives as well as opportunities aimed at reducing maternal and child mortality worldwide. He further said that “As a professional association with practitioners that understand the health issues, strategic engagement with government is critical to repositioning the health sector in Africa”.
