Global Activators Network on Maternal Health – Nigeria Workshop

ARFH joins the Global Activators Network on Maternal Health – Nigeria Workshop, convened by the World Economic Forum and the Federal Ministry of Health & Social Welfare to drive collaborative solutions for reducing maternal mortality.

Our CEO, Dr. Kehinde Osinowo, and Director of Programs, Dr. Kolapo Oyeniyi, are engaging with key stakeholders to foster public-private-philanthropic partnerships that will strengthen maternal health outcomes in Nigeria.

Key Highlights

Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, Coordinating Minister of Health & Social Welfare, emphasized the urgency of addressing maternal deaths, Dr. Mayowa Alade, Special Adviser to the Coordinating Minister, provided an overview of the Nigerian Health Sector Renewal Investment Initiative and Sector-Wide Approach (SWAp), Dr. Nana Sandah Abubakar, Director of Community Health Services at NPHCDA, presented a briefing on Maternal Mortality in Nigeria, Dr. Dayo Adeyanju, RMNCH Lead, discussed the Maternal and Neonatal Mortality Reduction Innovation and Initiatives (MAMII) Project under SWAp.
