Today, 2nd of July 2024, ARFH took a significant step forward in empowering women and enhancing reproductive health in Plateau State!
We conducted a transformative training session for Health Educators at the Plateau State Primary Health Care Development Board Headquarters, Jos. This session is part of our Community-Oriented DMPA-SC Self-Injection Acceleration (CODSAiN) Project, focusing on scaling up self-injection uptake and supporting comprehensive outreach activities for demand generation.
Key attendees included esteemed guests such as Executive Secretary of the Plateau State Primary Healthcare Board represented by Dr. Nanyak Ladan, Director of Primary Health Care, Dr. Yakubu Dauda Izang, Director of Disease Control and Immunization, Dorcas K. Ibrahim DDNS, Asabe Mwansat, Family Planning Coordinator, Rifkatu Dung, State Health Educators, Rahila Telfim, State ad-hoc staff, and Samson Tolulope Odukogbe, ARFH’s Knowledge Management and Communications Officer, who co-facilitated the training.
