Children’s Day 2025

ARFH joins the world in celebrating the creativity, resilience, and potential of children—especially the most vulnerable.

As demonstrated by the ICHSSA-2 Project, every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, learn, and grow in a safe and supportive environment. Through this initiative, ARFH made significant strides in strengthening systems that protect and empower children and adolescents across Edo, Kwara, and Lagos States.

Key Achievements under the ICHSSA-2 Project:

Reached 133,748 orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) with essential support services
Provided health insurance to over 20,000 households of children living with HIV
Established 7 Adolescent and Youth Friendly Centres (AYFCs) offering life skills, ART access, psychosocial support, and safe spaces
Trained 90 adolescents and youths in digital skills (web development, UI/UX, graphic design, mobile apps) and provided laptops to enhance employability
Set up an Early Childhood Care and Development Education (ECCDE) centre for quality pre-primary learning
Launched ‘Vibes Square’, a WhatsApp-based SRHR platform delivering youth-friendly services and increasing access to HIV information and care

ARFH remains committed to building a Nigeria where every child is protected, supported, and given the tools to reach their full potential.
