ARFH Strengthens the Managerial Capacity of 9 Sub-Recipients Through Provision of Technical Assistance

ARFH consistently provides technical assistance to the Sub-recipients which include four International Federation of Anti-Leprosy Association in Nigeria, namely The Leprosy Mission Nigeria (TLMN), Leprosy and Tuberculosis Relief Initiative Nigeria (LTR), German Leprosy and TB Relief Association (GLRA) and the Damien Foundation Belgium (DFB). Others are Health Alive Foundation, TB Network, Kaduna and Ebonyi State TB Control Programme, and National TB and Leprosy and Buruli Ulcer Control Programme (NTBLCP).
The aim is to strengthen their managerial capacity in effective implementation of TB services, ARFH conducts quarterly oversight visits to the Sub-recipients to improve their performance and programme coordination. In addition, ARFH also conducts direct oversight visits to the Community TB Workers and Community Based Organizations engaged in house to house active TB case finding in Lagos, Osun, Oyo, Kano and Kaduna States.
