ARFH President, Professor O.A Ladipo received an award for his dedicated work in women’s health while attending the FIGO Regional Congress of Gynecology & Obstetrics, Middle East and Africa on April 13, 2018. The congress which held at Dubai,United Arab Emirates from April 11-13 was convened by the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) in collaboration with other regional partners. It was a form of scientific programme targeted at spearheading cutting edge discussions and advancements by obstetricians, gynecologists, midwives, nurses, general practitioners and other specialists working in the field of women’s health.
Speaking on the award, Professor Ladipo further expressed his commitment and said “I was pleasantly surprised at this award presented to me by Prof. Purandare. I am indeed humbled and pledge to continue to support our effort to improve women’s health in Africa.”
