ARFH-PPFN: Strengthening a Long-Standing Partnership for Greater Impact

ARFH recently held a strategic engagement with the Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria (PPFN) to reaffirm and strengthen a long-standing partnership focused on advancing integrated sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services in alignment with Nigeria’s national health priorities.

During the meeting, Dr. Kehinde Osinowo, Chief Executive Officer of ARFH, reflected on the organization’s institutional journey, highlighting the enduring collaboration between ARFH and PPFN since ARFH’s inception. She emphasized the shared commitment of both organizations to expanding access to quality, rights-based SRH services.

Samson Odukogbe, Senior Knowledge & Communications Officer of ARFH, presented the organization’s core thematic areas, including communicable and non-communicable diseases, RMNCAH+N, and sexual and reproductive health. He provided an overview of ongoing initiatives and priority projects, noting strong programmatic alignment between ARFH and PPFN across family planning, adolescent and youth SRH, community and facility health systems strengthening, demand generation and service delivery.

In response, Dr. Okai Aku, Executive Director of PPFN, recognized ARFH’s technical expertise and long-standing contributions to sexual and reproductive health in Nigeria. He affirmed that the partnership will be further strengthened to deliver coordinated, integrated, and nationally aligned SRH interventions.

The meeting was attended by key members of the PPFN leadership and technical team, including Mr. Nnamdi, Director of Finance; Dr. John Chawa, Manager for Advocacy and Resource Mobilization; Dr. Paul Odigbo, Manager for Service Delivery; Mr. Stephen, Manager of Finance; Mr. Olayinka, Manager for Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research; Mrs. Abiola Awoyale, Officer for Special Projects; Mr. Sunmonu Tiamiyu, Manager of Finance; Mr. Ekene, Personal Assistant to the Executive Director; Alhaji Ibrahim, Internal Auditor; and Ms. Halima, Youth and Gender Officer.
