ARFH Joins Global Community to Mark World TB Day

The Association for Reproductive and Family Health (ARFH) on Friday joined the global community to commemorate the World Tuberculosis Day.

The day is a part of global efforts to raise awareness about the devastating health, social and economic impact of Tuberculosis (TB).

This year’s theme is “Yes! We Can End TB,” bringing to attention our collective power to end TB by 2030 to achieve the Sustainable Development Goal 5, which are fully aligned with the ‘WHO End TB Strategy.’

ARFH, in the same spirit and commitment through her Strategic Active TB case finding, contributed 86,148 positive TB cases in 2022 to national case notification.

We remain resolute to consolidate on our strategies of massive awareness creation, sensitization and social mobilization to further increase our contribution to TB case notification in Nigeria.
