The Chief Executive Officer of ARFH, Dr (Mrs) Kehinde Osinowo, on Friday received the prestigious Feminine Nigeria Achievement Award. The historic event which was held at Sheraton Hotel, Lagos had in attendance several outstanding women executives from all walks of life. Dr (Mrs) Osinowo was shortlisted and voted by Nigerians as the Most Outstanding NGO Executive for her sterling leadership at Association for Reproductive and Family Health and performance in managing several high-impact and innovative projects in the NGO sector. She has provided project implementation oversight across all regions of the 36+1 states of Nigeria and other West African sub-region.
“I am honoured and extremely humbled for emerging as the recipient of the Feminine Nigeria Achievement Award. This award will give an opportunity to showcase women’s prowess in leadership.” Dr Osinowo said.
Dr Osinowo has unique cross-cutting expertise in Sexual and Reproductive Health, Maternal and New- Born Child & Adolescent Health, Nutrition Youth, HIV, TB, and Malaria programming. She is a strong advocate of women and girls, Family Planning with core competencies in Leadership Management, Conceptual and Analytical, Appraisal, Communication , Consensus Building, and Creative Thinking.
Dr (Mrs) Osinowo continues to play leadership, feminist passion and expertise roles at national and state levels while contributing her technical expertise in policy reviews and reforms. She is a prominent member and past chair of Service Delivery sub-Committee of the National Reproductive Health Technical Working Group and member of other AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria national technical working groups.
She is a fellow of the Bill and Melinda Gates Strategic Leadership Program, Fellow of the West African College of Nursing Packard Foundation fellow of the International Family Planning Leadership Program, and Harvard School of Public Health-Certificate in Continuing Education in Health care Leadership & Executive Management Course.
