ARFH at the USAID Momentum Country and Global Leadership Quality of Care Dissemination and Marketplace Event

On August 6th, 2024, ARFH participated in the USAID Momentum Country and Global Leadership Quality of Care Project Dissemination and Marketplace event. This significant gathering brought together key health stakeholders, including a representative of Dr. Salma Ibrahim Anas, the Senior Special Assistant to the President of Nigeria on Health, Dr. Chris Isokpunwu, the Permanent Secretary (PS) of the Ministry of Steel Development (MSD) and former Director of Planning, Research, and Statistics (DPRS) at the Federal Ministry of Health (FMoH), and Dr. Dr.Kamil Shoretire, the Director of Planning, Research, and Statistics (DPRS) at FMoH.

 

Notably, Dr. Oniyire Adetiloye, the Country Director of Jhpiego, delivered the welcome remarks. Other distinguished attendees included Sinu Kurian, the Director of the Health Population Nutrition Office at USAID Nigeria, Dr. Binyerem Ukaire, the Director of Family Health at FMoH, who delivered a goodwill message, and Dr. Ugo Okoli, the Deputy Country Director of Jhpiego and Project Director of the MCGL Quality of Care Project, who provided an overview of the USAID MCGL QoC Project.

Our booth, among many others, showcased a diverse array of IEC materials detailing our various transformative projects. Attendees were particularly captivated by our presentation on the #CODSAiN project, which is making significant strides in reducing unmet family planning needs and maternal mortality across Nigeria.

ARFH‘s delegation was led by Dr. Kolapo Oyeniyi, Director of Programs, who delivered the goodwill message on behalf of the implementing partners, and Samson Odukogbe, Knowledge and Communications Officer. Their insightful discussions and engaging interactions demonstrated ARFH‘s unwavering commitment to improving health outcomes and fostering sustainable development in our communities.
