Job Description

Association for Reproductive and Family Health (ARFH) is one of the leading Nigerian Non-Governmental Organizations implementing programs for improving Reproductive Health and Family planning (RH/FP), Care and Treatment of HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis (TB) and Malaria etc.

We seek applications from qualified persons for the following position in a USAID funded OVC project: Integrated Child Health and Social Services Award in Lagos State. The DCOP will report to the Chief of Party (CoP) and support implementation of project activities. The DCOP will be responsible for managing day-to-day technical activities and act on behalf of the CoP, in his absence, including oversight activities across project States.

Specific Responsibilities

Technical leadership responsibilities include, but not limited to the following areas:

  • Programming for priority OVC sub-population, including CLHIV, HIV-exposed infants, children of PLHIV, adolescent girls, CKP and SVAC.
  • OVC Preventive interventions and Parenting skills development
  • Organization and workforce development
  • Excellent Report Writing and Documents Review Skills
  • Gender transformative programming
  • Programming to support HIV prevention and epidemic control
  • MCH and nutrition

Required Experience

Seven (7) years of experience, including senior program management position on a USAID funded OVC Program. Knowledge of grant management will be added advantage. Excellent computer skills, including basic knowledge of Strategic Information.

Minimum Qualifications

The DCOP should have excellent oral, written and analytical skills; including demonstrated experience in the strategic design and implementation of OVC programs.

Qualification:

  • MBBS or B.Sc. degree in any medical or social sciences
  • PhD or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Public Health, Development Studies, Social Work or other related fields of study.
