Mr Luqman Tope, Kazeem is the Director of Finance at Association for Reproductive and Family Health (ARFH). As a financial management consultant, Mr Kazeem is participated actively in interventions to improve the financial management of programmes and public financial management (PFM) of states. Most of these interventions funded by DFID and USAID are in the areas of financial management with emphasis on accounting software deployment, financial management systems setup and financial report generation. Mr Kazeem supports institutions to improve their capacity to manage funds received from donors (e.g. USAID, EU, DFID etc) to carry out interventions in the areas of health in Nigeria. He supports the organizations in the areas of financial management especially with operational policies and procedures manuals, accounting software, project management, grants management, strategic planning, operational planning, work planning, program and financial reporting.
Prior to his current position, he was the Accountant and System Administrator in GRID Consulting Ltd. He developed, computerised, integrated and run the accounting and payroll systems that handles all its operations and that of programmes for several years. He provided technical supports to the internal staff on the operational and accounting software systems.
He worked with MAINLAND TRUST LTD as the Assistant Accountant and System Administrator where he designed, computerised and integrated the stock broking operations and the accounting system of the company. The system supported clients’ activities and balances reporting amongst other management information systems.
He once worked with TRIPPLE GEE & Co. as an internal audit staff, FIRST Bank of Nigeria Plc during his NYSC and also worked with NPHCDA in the Data Centre under the Monitoring and Evaluation Division of the establishment.
