Dr. Queen Ogbuji, Elected As Second Vice Chair for Nigeria Stop TB Partnership

Dr. Queen Ogbuji, ARFH TB Coordinator has been elected 2nd Vice Chair of the Nigeria Stop TB Partnership. The election took place at the Inaugural meeting of Nigeria Stop TB Partnership held in Abuja on the 14th of May 2015. Other elected officers includes; Prof Lovett Lawson as Chairman and Dr. Ayodele Awe as the 1st Vice Chair. The event organised by the National TB and Leprosy Control Programme with support from the Global Fund.
The Stop TB Partnership is a global platform that is leading the way to a world without tuberculosis (TB). Founded in 2001, the Partnership’s mission is to serve every person who is vulnerable to TB and ensure that high-quality treatment is available to all who need it.
After many years of preparations, Nigeria Stop TB Partnership will join the global community of TB Stakeholders to ensure that resources, treatment care and support are provided to patients living with the disease across Nigeria. Together with 1300 partners in more 100 countries, The Nigeria Stop TB Partnership will become a collective force that is transforming the fight against TB in Nigeria.
