ARFH, alongside her alumni and partners, will celebrate the life and legacy of Chief (Mrs.) Grace Ebun Delano, a visionary leader, seasoned Nurse/Midwife, and pioneering reproductive health advocate whose impact spans over five decades.
A co-founder of ARFH and a driving force behind the integration of family planning into Nigeria’s health system, she played a transformative role in advancing reproductive health, community-based services, and women’s empowerment across the country.
Described by the late Professor Olikoye Ransome-Kuti as the “Mother of Primary Health Care”, she was widely respected for her integrity, leadership, and lifelong commitment to improving health outcomes.
Her outstanding contributions earned her numerous national and international recognitions, including the WHO Sasakawa Health Award and the Florence Nightingale Award, among many others.
Join us for an Evening of Tributes as we reflect on her remarkable life and enduring legacy.
