This January, ARFH joins the global campaign to #EmpowerTheStorytellers, sharing the voices of cervical cancer survivors and promoting prevention through HPV vaccination and early check-ups.
Cervical cancer can be prevented and treated if detected early. Here’s how ARFH is taking action:
HPV Vaccine Awareness & Service Support: Engaging states, stakeholders, community and religious leaders, and gatekeepers to increase demand and access to HPV vaccination for adolescents in Lagos, Kano, and Enugu.
Screening & Early Detection: Encouraging girls and women to do Pap and HPV tests to detect cervical changes early.
Sharing Stories: Survivors’ voices inspire communities and help reduce late diagnoses.
Together, we can protect our girls, save lives, and raise awareness about cervical cancer!
