Job Description

The Association for Reproductive and Family Health (ARFH) is a leading indigenous non-governmental organization with a track record of implementing high-impact public health interventions across the country.

ARFH, in partnership with Village Reach, is implementing the GAVI HPV Vaccine Technical Assistance Project to support the routine delivery of HPV vaccination through the MNCH Weeks and Green October Drive in selected states.

We seek an experienced professional for a short-term consultancy:

Advocacy, Partnership and Stakeholders’ Engagement Specialist

Location: Abuja

Duration: April-November 2025

Specific Responsibilities

  • Serve as ARFH’s focal person in the implementation of the project.
  • Provide strategic leadership to ARFH’s state level consultants on the project.
  • Lead all advocacy and stakeholders’ engagement drive at both national and sub-national levels
  • Coordinate with NPHCDA, SPHCBs, LGA teams and other stakeholders for planning and implementation of MNCH Weeks and Green October Drive in selected implementation states.
  • Provide support and attend National HPV Vaccination Technical Working Group meetings.
  • Participate and provide support for the Partners Forum’s meetings at the national level.
  • Facilitate the establishment/strengthening of the States’ Immunization Task Force Committees
  • Ensure participation and support at state’s immunization task force committee meetings.
  • Prepare and submit high quality reports to the management of ARFH on implementation of the project at determined intervals

Required Experience

  • MBBS or equivalent, Nursing and master’s degree in public health.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in Routine Immunization, MNCH, community health systems, or public health programming.
  • Strong leadership and supportive supervisory skills
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with national and sub-national health teams.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal communication, and report writing skills.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in Routine Immunization, MNCH, community health systems, or public health programming.
