ARFH’s Commitment to HPV Awareness & Prevention
At ARFH, we are dedicated to reducing the incidence of cervical cancer and the burden of Human Papillomavirus (HPV) through HPV awareness and linkage to HPV vaccination for adolescent girls 9-14 years
✅ Supporting Vulnerable Children & Families: Through the ICHSSA Project, we integrate HPV awareness for orphans and vulnerable adolescent girls in Lagos, Edo, and Kwara States.
✅ Expanding HPV Vaccination: Partnering with the Health Promotion Unit, we facilitate awareness and linkage for vaccination among adolescent girls in 11 LGAs across Lagos.
✅ School & Community-Based Awareness: With UNESCO’s support, we link schools to health facilities for GBV and HPV awareness while educating youth at six Adolescents & Youth-Friendly Centers (AYFCs) in Lagos on HPV and cervical cancer prevention.
✅ Health Insurance Advocacy: ARFH is advocating for HPV prevention and integration into health insurance schemes for sustainable healthcare access.
HPV-related cancers are preventable! Get young adolescent girls vaccinated and stay informed. Together, we can build an HPV-free future.
