Between 2014 -2019, ARFH as one of the consortium partners on the Palladium-DFID supported Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH2) in six N.W & N.E states, Nigeria – Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Zamfara, Jigawa and Yobe.. MNCH2 implemented a project aiming to improve maternal, newborn and child health and routine immunization across six States in North West and East states. The program delivered essential health care for pregnant women, newborns and children with the aim to improve health and nutritional status for pregnant women, new born and children and increased demand for and access to high-quality health services
As part of ARFH’s sustainability models; ARFH had work closely with LGs (health education units) and CSOs to identify needs, assess gaps and plan responses for a scaled up response. This ensured that it was integrated into LGs budget.
