ARFH is one of the implementing partners on the DFID supported MNCH2 project and provides her services through the provision of sustainable sexual & reproductive health and public health information and services especially in the areas of Maternal, Child and Neonatal Health through capacity building for health and non-health professionals, mentoring of organisations, youth programming and operations research.
MNCH2 was a 5-year project aimed to improve maternal, newborn and child and Adolescent health and routine immunisation across six States in Northern Nigeria – Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Zamfara, Jigawa and Yobe. The programme delivered essential health care for pregnant women, newborns and children with the aim to improve health system coordination through health sector planning, financing and increased demand for and access to high quality health services.
