Advocacy and Partnership Lead

FCT, Nigeria

Job Description

The Advocacy and Partnership Lead must ensure the advancement of immunization, MNCH+N, and FP/RH priorities in the FCT by driving policy engagement, technical advocacy and cross sector partnerships.

Specific Responsibilities

The Advocacy and Partnership Lead will:

  • Lead engagement with FCT PHC Board, SMoH, and other government stakeholders
  • Coordinate advocacy with CSOs, faith leaders and private sector partners
  • Develop policy briefs, position papers and advocacy materials
  • Support the use of global goods like the IA2030 Scorecard for accountability
  • Strengthen networks and coalitions to amplify organizational voice and project reach.
  • Maintain strong relationships with media and community leaders to promote visibility.
  • Align advocacy efforts with the MCGL/RISE Project objectives

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Health advocacy, policy engagement, or partnerships

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Communications or related field
  • Strong understanding of Nigeria’s health system and immunization landscape
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
